Arena Pantanal is a new multi-use stadium in Cuiaba, Brazil, that is currently in the planning stages. Once completed in 2012, it will be used mostly for football matches and will be used to host matches during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The stadium will have a capacity of 42,500 people. It will replace the Verdao.
Arena Pantanal was broken down in May 2010 for renovation purpose for the world cup 2014 which will be played in Brazil. Stadium is planned for reopening in December 2010. It's current capacity was 42,000 after renovation and upgradation it's capacity will be 41,375
